Welcome to MyPriest World. Our mission is simple: to create a safe, respectful, and welcoming place where people can explore life's big questions and speak directly with Catholic priests online.

To keep our community safe and positive, we ask everyone — priests and parishioners alike — to follow these guidelines.

1. Respect Comes First

  • Treat everyone with dignity and kindness.
  • No insults, harassment, or offensive language.
  • Remember: this is a space for openness, curiosity, and compassion.

2. Online-Only Conversations

  • MyPriest World is for online use only.
  • You may choose to visit an official local parish for Mass, confession, or other Church services.
  • But: no private, unsupervised meetings between users and priests are allowed through this platform.
  • If someone suggests meeting outside the platform, report it immediately.

3. No Confession Here

  • Conversations here are not sacramental confession.
  • Confession always happens in person at a parish church.
  • Priests may offer guidance, encouragement, and support — but not absolution.

4. Protect Your Privacy

  • Don't share personal contact details (phone, address, email, social media) too soon.
  • Keep initial conversations inside the platform — it's safer for everyone.
  • Be cautious about sharing sensitive personal information.

5. Safety First

If you ever feel uncomfortable:

  • End the conversation immediately.
  • Use the "Report" or "Block" feature.

  • If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

6. Zero Tolerance for Abuse

We will suspend or remove any account that engages in:

  • Harassment or bullying
  • Sexual misconduct or inappropriate advances
  • Hate speech or discrimination
  • Attempts to arrange private meetings outside Church or platform settings

7. Be Honest

  • Priests must provide real verification of their clerical status.
  • Parishioners must use their real identity.
  • Fake accounts or misrepresentation are not allowed.

8. Reporting & Support

We take safety seriously.

  • Use the Report button in the app to flag problems.
  • Our Trust & Safety team reviews reports promptly.
  • We may warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break these rules.
