Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully. By using MyPriest World, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
MyPriest World is a digital platform that enables individuals ("Parishioners" or "Users") to connect online with Catholic priests ("Priests") for private, one-on-one conversations.
The Service exists to:
- •Provide a safe, online space for people seeking purpose, meaning, or spiritual guidance, including those without faith
- •Encourage respectful dialogue around spirituality and life's deeper questions
- •Support individuals in taking independent next steps into community and Church life when they are ready, through official parish services
Important: The Platform does not provide sacramental confession, professional counseling, or therapy.
- •Users must be at least 18 years old
- •By registering, you confirm you have legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- •Priests must provide verification of clerical status (e.g., parish reference, diocesan email, or ID) as requested by the Company
3.1 Online Use Only
The Platform is designed exclusively for online conversations. MyPriest World does not encourage, arrange, supervise, or endorse in-person meetings between Users and Priests.
3.2 Offline Meetings at User's Own Risk
If you choose to meet another User outside of the Platform, you do so entirely at your own discretion and risk. MyPriest World assumes no responsibility or liability for any events, outcomes, or harm that may result from such meetings.
3.3 Exception: Official Church Services
Users are welcome and encouraged to attend official, public parish services (e.g., Mass, confession, catechesis, prayer groups) through their local Catholic parish. These are not arranged or supervised by MyPriest World, but form part of the normal life of the Church.
3.4 Prohibited Conduct
- •Users may not use the Platform to arrange private, unsupervised offline meetings
- •Priests are expressly prohibited from soliciting Users for private offline encounters outside of official parish settings
- •Any attempt to circumvent this rule may result in immediate suspension or termination of the account
Users agree to:
- •Treat all participants with respect, dignity, and courtesy
- •Not misuse the Platform for harassment, abuse, exploitation, or solicitation
- •Refrain from sharing personal contact information prematurely
- •Follow Community Guidelines and safety recommendations provided
- •Payments and donations are processed securely by Stripe
- •The Platform may deduct a service fee from each transaction
- •Priests are responsible for complying with their local tax obligations
- •Users acknowledge that donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless determined otherwise at the Platform's discretion
- •The Platform provides reporting tools for misconduct, abuse, or suspicious activity
- •MyPriest World reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including warnings, suspensions, or permanent account bans
- •The Company is not obliged to pre-screen all Users but will act promptly on valid complaints

All software, design, trademarks, and content associated with the Platform remain the property of MyPriest World, LLC. Users may not copy, modify, or redistribute materials without prior written consent.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available."
We make no guarantees of uninterrupted service, availability, or suitability for any specific purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- •MyPriest World shall not be liable for damages resulting from user interactions, whether online or offline
- •We are not liable for loss, injury, or claims arising from Users attending offline meetings, except for participation in official parish services, which remain wholly outside the scope of this Service
- •Total liability is capped at the amount of fees paid by the User in the 12 months prior to the claim
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyPriest World, its owners, affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or costs related to your use of the Platform, your conduct, or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, endangers safety, or acts in a way inconsistent with the mission of the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, and subject to applicable consumer protections in the UK/EU where relevant.
We may update these Terms periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
